Our client is looking for non SET Registrar Positions (2yrs+ Post Graduation).
Our client is a teaching hospital and the major tertiary referral centre providing specialised and emergency healthcare, with patient’s catchment of ~ 1,007,000 people. It is the only major hospital in New Zealand to offer all surgical specialties on one campus and is the major trauma hospital.
Candidates who have completed two years post graduate hospital experience including a variety of surgical experience will be considered. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the breadth of surgery in our large tertiary setting before honing in on a training pathway. They provide an excellent training environment with very good supervision, as well as opportunities for career planning and development as you will gain extensive experience in a wide variety of settings.
A 550 general inpatient beds, performs in excess of 34,000 surgical procedures per year in the 24 theatre operating suite, and sees an average of 220 emergency department presentations per day.
