ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is after an Orthopedic Surgeon for permanent cover starting now.

You will be completing a variety of duties including ward rounds, clinics, theatre, call back and rostered acute activities, and leadership.  

You will need:

  • Current specialist registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Recent clinical experience in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Professional Medical Indemnity Insurance.
  • Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or Equivalent.
 

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
This 200 plus bed hospital is situated in a North Island town renowned for its Maori culture. The hospital has medical specialists in general medicine, with interests in respiratory, diabetes, geriatrics and cardiology and a 24-hour ED service. Surgeons are present in general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT and dental with visiting ophthalmologists and urologists.

 

ABOUT THE REGION
