ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is after a General Practitioner for permanent cover starting now. The centre is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm with on call and weekend cover required.

Generally 15min appointment 12-15 per session

A car and accommodation will be provided for the first two months.

You will need to have:
•    Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
•    Legal right to work in New Zealand
•    Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
•    Current ACLS certificate
•    Excellent English written and communication skills
•    Being familiar with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) would be an advantage
•    Someone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of M?ori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Region:

This is a large town that serves the surrounding farming district. It sits between two major rivers, so fly fishing is the local obsession. Both of the nearby rivers are known for salmon and sea-run trout. The town has plenty of shops and a museum and is just over an hour by car to the nearest big city.
