ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client provides primary healthcare services to the large rural district of Tararua situated in Southern Hawkes Bay on the East Coast of New Zealand. They are a large organisation delivering GP care, hospital services, nurse-led clinics and community nursing from over five sites.
Their vision is to provide “rural healthcare at its best” by:
1. Putting their patient at the centre of its activities.
2. Improving the delivery of health services to the community.
3. Aiming to service the Tararua population with excellent primary healthcare and improve quality of life.
4. Collaborating with other organisations to provide patients with timely and excellent care by the best person.
Their staff, over 120 in number, work in a model of care which is multi-disciplinary, integrated and caring. There is a diverse range of health professionals including GPs, nurse practitioners, specialist nurses, practice/rural hospital nurses, allied health staff and management. The organisation is clinically-led with extensive input from all scopes of practice.
They also offer relocations costs, three months accommodation, vehicle and assistance with finding permanent accommodation.
