ABOUT THE ROLE

Locum General Adult Psychiatrist – Invercargill
open to weekday work, 2 days per fortnight or month, 1 week per month etc.  Weekends are mainly covered over the next few months

Locum Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Invercargill  
11-15 September
 
Locum Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Balclutha for next 6 months
One day per fortnight – open to a mix of on-site and Teams (1 day per month on site / 1 day per month via teams/video link)
Balclutha is an approximate 45min drive south of Dunedin Airport

Built in late 2004, this secondary level 4 base hospital services a population base of approx. 100,000 providing acute medical and surgical, outpatient clinics, day procedures, 24-hour emergency department, comprehensive ancillary facilities including laboratory, medical imaging, medical diagnostics, specialist paediatric, maternity, rehabilitation and therapy services. On average per year this Hospital sees 30,000 Emergency Department attendances, 5,000 theatre operations 1100 births and 17,000 discharges. This hospital is well equipped for its size and features digital radiology technology with MRI and CT capability as well as electronic patient management system.
