ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is the largest region in New Zealand with two acute admitting hospitals. The Cardiology Department is working to provide more efficient and effective services to meet the increased demands of the population.
The Echocardiography Department has a vacancy for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer. Entry level into this position is an internationally recognised qualification in Cardiac Ultrasound. The applicant must have, or be eligible for registration with the New Zealand national registration body, Medical Radiation and Technology Board. Preferably the applicant will have at least 2 years post graduate experience.
The successful applicant will be someone who is hard working, has shown a commitment for providing excellence in patient care and a drive to succeed professionally. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability and maturity to work in stressful situations and to be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
