Our client  is the largest hospital operated by Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand. They offer secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care and a selected range of community and domiciliary services for the population.

They also provide niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers in orthopaedic and plastic surgery, burns, spinal injury rehabilitation, renal dialysis, and neonatal intensive care.

The Hospital is the main hub for acute care and referral services. It is an accredited, teaching hospital of Auckland University and University of Otago and caters for most medical and surgical specialties with a catchment area of around 600,000 people.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for part time, full time permanent or locum Radiologists to join our team! You will be working with a dedicated and friendly team of more than 50 Radiologists, supported by the wider team of over 170 staff, including Registrars, Sonographers, Radiographers, Nurses, RIS-PACS and administrative support staff.

They perform over 225,000 procedures a year for a population of 590,000 South Auckland residents and we pride ourselves for our can-do attitude, excellent training, and very friendly staff.

There Radiology Department is growing rapidly and will be opening a large new state of the art department within the next 24 months.

You will be based primarily at an accredited, 850-bed, teaching hospital. They are well-known internationally for our world class work in orthopaedics; burns and spinal injury rehabilitation and we also offer other specialist services, including neonatal intensive care, renal dialysis, and

You should be either registered or be eligible for vocational registration within the scope of General Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand. The eligibility for registration can be checked via this link https://www.mcnz.org.nz/get-registered/registration-self-assessment-tool/Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC or the ability to be awarded one.
