ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client in Redlands (Bayside area of Brisbane) is a successful General Practice and are expanding to open an additional practice in the Wynnum area where the demand for GPs is high.  The suburb is growing rapidly and the need for GPs is only going to increase.

The private billing practice will be a brand new high quality facility with new modern equipment & IT infrastructure.  The existing systems and processes will be copied across form the other successful practice which with ensure the smooth and efficient operation of this new Clinic.  This Clinic will eventually grow to 11 GPs.

They are currently looking for a Principal GP to lead the team of new GPs who will join the practice.  The Principal GP will be provided with a shareholding in the practice.

All GPs will retain 65% – 70% (tiered structure) of their billings with no additional fees (incl no booking fees).  There is an income guarantee for the first 3 months to assist the GP in building their patient base.  The average full time GP at the existing practice bills over $20k per fortnight.  The is an offer of equity in the practice for the Principal GP. 

There will be a treatment bay with 4 beds as well as 11 consulting rooms.
