ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking locum Anaesthetist to help between February to July 2025. 

Ideal candidate would be someone who can work longer blocks, all availability is considered though. You need to be able to work at a high turn over level, and be able to handle high pressure situations. Duties would be week days with some weekend work but not every weekend. No on call required. National pay rate of $2000 per day, $500 per on call, $4500 if working 4pm Friday to 8am Monday. Must have flexibility and be able to adapt to new environment is important. 
Travel and accommodation is negotiated and will be approved upon application of role.

There are over 197,000 outpatient attendances at the hospital, excluding those for radiology and laboratory services. In addition, it has the busiest Emergency Department in Australasia treating more than 65,000 patients a year.  The hospital operates 600-650 beds. The busiest time of year is usually winter.
