ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client based in the lower South Island is seeking Paediatric SHO or Registrar locum doctors to help with shifts between 13 January – 4 April 2025.

Majority of the shifts will be weekdays 0800 – 1600 with some evening shifts 1500 – 2300. 

Return travel and accommodation is provided and booked for you.

Built in late 2004, this secondary level 4 base hospital services a population base of approx. 100,000 providing acute medical and surgical, outpatient clinics, day procedures, 24-hour emergency department, comprehensive ancillary facilities including laboratory, medical imaging, medical diagnostics, specialist paediatric, maternity, rehabilitation and therapy services. On average per year this Hospital sees 30,000 Emergency Department attendances, 5,000 theatre operations 1100 births and 17,000 discharges.
