ABOUT THE ROLE

We are needing a Psychiatrist or Psychiatrists to cover a permanent vacancy and various leave gaps this year. We would consider all options/availability

  • All of February 2025
  • May to November 2025

The on-call is 1:3 and the workload is a mix of inpatients and outpatients and the SMO’s are first on-call with a very experienced crisis team. 

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

This hospital is usually staffed by Junior Doctors working directly with the Consultants as there are no Registrars. The Hospital is about a 5-minute drive from the town centre, it is a very modern Hospital with a Medical ward, a Surgical ward, Adult Rehab ward, Maternity unit, Paediatric ward, Day Patient unit, and an ICU/CCU.

ABOUT THE REGION

This District is a picturesque region flanked by rural farmland, rugged coast and sandy beaches and the majestic snowed-capped Southern Alps.
