ABOUT THE ROLE

Locum cover required for SMO leave 14 – 24 April. 

Forensic inpatient ward, covering a caseload of 12 patients.  Registrar and SMO colleague supporting.  Monday to Friday, 40 hours.  Unit is a mixed gender, medium secure environment.  Team will accept general psychiatry, not suitable for telehealth.

This major teaching hospital services a population of around 1m people and provides the following services: Medical, surgical, mental health, community and clinical support services are managed and delivered as 16 clinical practice areas, organised into five groups. Each clinical practice area is headed by a Clinical Leader, most of whom are practising senior health professionals.
